Not a species. A naming mix-up pointing to the real case: Teetonia.
THINK ABOUTIT’S ALIEN TYPE SUMMARY
Oetians
There is no documented species called the “Oetians.” The name almost certainly arose from a naming collision: “Oetian” closely echoes “Ötztal” and “Ötzi,” the famous Copper Age mummy discovered in the Ötztal Alps in 1991, and appears to be a garbled stand-in for the Teetonians — the real, extensively documented beings reported by Italian night watchman Pier Zanfretta beginning in 1978. “Oetian aliens” is not a distinct documented species in this archive. It appears to be a corrupted or misremembered reference to the Teetonians, also known as “Zanfretta’s Aliens” — tall, green-skinned beings with triangular eyes and translator-equipped helmets, first reported by Pier Zanfretta in northern Italy in 1978, in one of the most investigated UFO cases in European history. The resemblance between “Oetian” and “Ötztal”/”Ötzi” (the real Copper Age mummy found in the Ötztal Alps in 1991) appears to be the source of the confusion, though the two have no established connection to each other.
