Elena Danaan’s A Gift from the Stars repeats most of Santori’s material without crediting it, but does add genuinely new information: a physical description identifying the Kalenia as humanoid with reptilian genetics, slightly smaller and slimmer than an average Terran, entirely hairless, with small pointed ears and cat-like eyes. This directly contradicts the prior version of this page, which classified them as simply “Humanoid” and invented an unrelated set of biometrics — a body temperature, blood pressure, and skin tone that appear nowhere in either source.

Classification Corrected: The prior version of this page listed the Kalenia as simply “Humanoid.” Danaan’s source material — the only physical description available — identifies them as humanoid with reptilian genetics. This page now reflects that.
Fabricated Data Removed: A full biometric panel beyond the confirmed 150-year lifespan, two named subspecies, a “Level II” classification, and an entire mining-technology mythology (Sonoluminescence, “Singing Sands,” matriarchal Surveyors) were all invented. None appear in either cited source.
A Fabricated Citation Removed: The previous “Source” line cited “Classified AZA-4 Mining Discrepancy Reports (1994)” and Tuareg oral tradition. Neither traces to any identifiable document or account in the sourcing consulted for this correction. Both have been removed.
