The Vegan entry traces to a single original source: a 1992 channeling session with Germane, a group-consciousness energy speaking through Lyssa Royal, later published as “Galactic Family: An Overview of Genotypes.” In it, Germane describes the Lyran lineage branching at Vega into a genotype distinct enough to be treated as its own people — tall (6 to 7 feet), dark-skinned, non-Caucasian, with thicker and tougher skin than humans and notably large, striking eyes that retain an eyelid, unlike the Zeta type. Germane splits Vegan appearance into two categories, explicit that these are cosmetic differences rather than separate genetic lines: a Humanoid type matching the description above, and a Nonhuman type whose forward- or downward-thrust jaw gives a “reptilian” or “insectoid” impression to human observers, despite being, in Germane’s account, equally mammalian and equally part of the human genetic family.

Later compilations that reference “the Vegans” are, as far as this research can trace, downstream of this same material.
Attribution Error: The stoic, low-emotion temperament attached to the Vegans in circulation actually describes a different group in the source — the darker-skinned Lyrans — who the material explicitly separates from the Vegan genotype. This page does not carry that temperament forward as a Vegan trait.
Scope of the Copper-Blood Detail: Germane attributes the copper-based, greenish-tinged blood and skin only to the Nonhuman-type Vegans, not to the type as a whole. Presenting it as a universal Vegan trait, complete with specific blood pressure and pulse figures, goes beyond anything the source states.
