A dossier-style illustrative rendering of the Jighantik, reclassified as reptilian per available sourcing, referencing the 1 February 2003 Houston sighting.
THINK ABOUTIT’S ALIEN TYPE SUMMARY
Jighantik
They were last reported near Houston, Texas, on 1 February 2003 — and despite three thousand years of alleged contact with Earth governments, no source anywhere describes what actually happened that day, or what these beings, wrongly filed for years as a species of Tall Grey, actually look like.
Name: Jighantik
AKA: None documented.
Location – Home System: Horologium constellation. Per Elena Danaan, a system of six planets; no home planet is named.
Distance from Earth: Not specified in sourcing.
Attitude: Per the ARB, “other races consider them to have a violent nature” — a reported reputation, not a directly witnessed behavior. Danaan separately describes their appearance as instilling fear.
Motives: Allied with the Maitre. Per Danaan, they exploit five of the six planets in their home system for natural resources, primarily mineral and gas.
Physical Appearance: Described by Elena Danaan as a tall reptilian species — not a Grey. Slender eyes, a long thin ridge in place of a nose, robust musculature, and four long, strong fingers capable of curving and gripping like claws.
- Average Height: Not specified in sourcing.
- Average Weight: Not specified in sourcing.
- Body Temperature: Not specified in sourcing.
- Pulse/Respiration: Not specified in sourcing.
- Blood Pressure: Not specified in sourcing.
- Life Expectancy: Not specified in sourcing.
- Hair: Not specified in sourcing.
- Skin: Not specified in sourcing.
- Eyes: Described as slender.
- Sex: Not specified in sourcing.
Other Physical Information: A long thin ridge takes the place of a nose. Four fingers per hand, long and strong, described as able to curve and grip like claws. Typically unclothed; clothing is worn only as environmental armor during space travel.
Special Traits and Abilities: Not specified for the beings themselves. Their craft are described as capable of interdimensional and time travel.
Communication Type: Not specified in sourcing.
Origin: Horologium constellation; six-planet system per Danaan; no home planet named.
Life Form Type: Reptilian (tall). Previously misclassified on this site as a Grey-type variant; the only physical source available describes them explicitly as reptilian.
Subspecies: None documented.
Most Common Species: Not specified in sourcing.
Level of Species: No classification is offered in any source. Not applicable.
Habits: Per Danaan, they reportedly abduct humans but, unlike other reptilian factions in her broader account, do not eat them — a specific claim worth noting given how rarely this level of detail appears in this genre.
Transportation Type: Discoidal craft, described as “brown metal,” reportedly capable of interdimensional and time travel.
Witnesses Reports: Per the ARB, last reported on 1 February 2003 near Houston, Texas, USA. No description of the event accompanies this citation in the source. No other dated sighting is documented.
Special Features/Characteristics: Four clawed fingers per hand; a long thin nasal ridge in place of a nose; generally unclothed outside of space travel.
Summary/Description: A tall reptilian species from the Horologium constellation, allied with the Maitre and reportedly present on Earth for some 3,000 years. Other races reportedly regard them as violent by nature, though no specific violent incident is documented in sourcing. They maintain sporadic contact with three unnamed governments, explicitly excluding the United States, Russia, and China, and were last reported near Houston, Texas, on 1 February 2003.

DETAILED REPORT
The Jighantik entry required more than fabrication-stripping — the previous version misclassified the species entirely. It was presented as a “Tall Grey” variant, complete with a full Grey-archetype biometric panel. The only source that offers any physical description at all, Elena Danaan’s A Gift from the Stars, describes something categorically different: a tall reptilian species, with slender eyes, a long thin ridge where a nose would be, a robust build, and four long, clawed fingers. Nothing in either source consulted supports a Grey classification.
The claim of a Horologium origin, an alliance with the Maitre, and a reported reputation for violence among “other races” all trace to Santori’s 2011 Alien Race Book, as does the specific and unusual claim that the Jighantik maintain contact with three unnamed Earth governments while deliberately avoiding the United States, Russia, and China. The source does not explain how this is known. The same source places their most recent reported sighting on 1 February 2003, near Houston, Texas — a specific date and location, offered without any description of what was actually observed.
Danaan’s account adds that the Jighantik occupy a six-planet system within Horologium, exploiting five of those planets for mineral and gas resources, and that their discoidal, brown-metal craft are reportedly capable of interdimensional and time travel. She also states that while the Jighantik do abduct humans, they do not consume them — a detail she distinguishes from other reptilian factions elsewhere in her account, and specific enough to be worth preserving even within an otherwise thin record.
No source consulted describes a violent encounter, a weapon, or a direct confrontation of any kind. The “violent nature” attributed to them is explicitly a secondhand reputation reported by other alleged races, not a witnessed act.
RESEARCHER’S NOTES
The Grey That Wasn’t — Reclassifying the Jighantik as Reptilian
- Classification Corrected: The prior version of this page filed the Jighantik as a Grey Type Alien variant. The only physical description in sourcing — Danaan’s — is explicit and unambiguous: they are reptilian. This page now reflects that.
- Fabricated Data Removed: A full biometric panel including a 10-foot average height, two named subspecies, a “Level III” classification, a bio-acoustic paralysis weapon, and a “Telepathic Overload” attack were all invented. None appear in either cited source.
- An Invented Incident, Removed: The previous version described a detailed 1982 skirmish involving a militia and a telepathic mass-unconsciousness event. No such incident appears in Santori’s ARB, Danaan’s account, or Muller’s cross-reference. It has been removed in full.
- A Real Sighting, Replaced with a Fake One: The only dated, located sighting in sourcing is 1 February 2003 near Houston, Texas — with no description of what occurred. The prior version replaced this specific, real citation with vague, unsupported “Southeast Asia and Central Africa” claims.
- What’s Genuinely Sourced: The Horologium origin, the Maitre alliance, the reported (not witnessed) reputation for violence, the three-government contact claim, and the 3,000-year timeframe are all real claims within Santori’s ARB, however thinly supported. They are preserved here as sourced claims, not proven facts.
Corrected from a fabricated Grey-type threat profile to what the sourcing actually supports: an unclassified reptilian species with a thin but real paper trail, a specific and undescribed 2003 Texas sighting, and a reported — never witnessed — reputation for violence.
“Other races consider them to have a violent nature.”
— Santori, Alien Race Book (2011), as cited by Jake Muller
